Nashville, TN (September 3, 2013) ---- Recently Dove nominated and one of the most respected modern hymnwriters world-wide, Keith and Kristyn Getty, are scheduled to launch Hymns for the Christian Life Concert Tour that runs September 29 - November 12. The 20-city tour will feature the couple with a full band and will take the Gettys across the country; from New York to LA, and from Meyerson Symphony Hall in Dallas, TX to Hamilton Place Theatre in Hamilton, Toronto (Canada). The tour will feature familiar songs from Keith and Kristyn's previous albums such as, "In Christ Alone," "The Power of the Cross," "Christ Is Risen, He Is Risen Indeed." It will also spotlight a new song that was co-written by the couple and their producer Ed Cash for the Getty's new upcoming album, Keith & Kristyn Getty: Live From The Gospel Coalition. You can check out, "Lift High The Name Of Jesus," at the link here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M8ZULrY9HlI. The tour's finale will be at the Grand Ole Opry at the historic Ryman Auditorium on November 12, and this will mark the Gettys' seventh Opry performance.

"Kristyn and I are looking forward to visiting so many cities this fall; some of them familiar places and some new areas where we haven't toured before," says Keith Getty. "We're excited to be engaging with hundreds of churches and venues across the country to celebrate the message of Christ, and connect with our supporters that have been so encouraging to us throughout the years."

The tour is named after The Gettys' critically acclaimed album, Hymns for the Christian Life that features Grammy-award winning artists, Alison Krauss and Ricky Skaggs, which received a Dove nomination last week for Inspirational Album of the Year. With the success of the album and the duo's full concert production, this year's tour should continue the successful string of numerous sell-out dates that has happened over the years which include Wortham Center, Houston, TX; Tennessee Theatre, Knoxville, TN; Schermerhorn Symphony Center, Nashville, TN. Hymns for the Christian Life Concert Tour has the potential to reach 34,000 people. The Gettys decided to stretch their fall tour over six weeks this year and postponed their annual Joy - An Irish Christmas concert tour due to Kristyn being pregnant with their second child. The couple is already the proud parents of 2-year-old Eliza Joy, with their second child due December 2013.

The Gettys will also be releasing their upcoming album, Keith & Kristyn Getty: Live From The Gospel Coalition on September 10. This will be the first live album for Keith and Kristyn, which was recorded at The Gospel Coalition in Orlando, FL this past spring. The project features thirteen songs that were recorded at several different performances during the 5-day conference. It includes many of the Getty's most popular hymns and a few of their favorite traditional hymns as well.

About Keith & Kristyn Getty
The Gettys met in Belfast, Ireland when they began songwriting together. They were married in 2004, and two years later they recorded their first project as a couple in the United Kingdom and Nashville, TN. In 2007, they made the journey overseas to America and lived in Ohio for three years as they began their professional career, but found their permanent home in Nashville, July 2010. In 2011, the Gettys welcomed a new addition to their family when their daughter, Eliza Joy, was born. The Gettys have released 4 albums and have garnered incredible success in 6 short years that include an acclaimed repertoire of 21st century hymns and one of the most impactful live performances. The couple has toured extensively, including with their Joy - An Irish Christmas concert tour, which has played many of the nation's major concert halls, reaching over 60,000 people in two years. They have also appeared at Franklin Graham crusades, the GMA Dove Awards, The Third Lausanne Conference on World Evangelization, as well as feature performances at London's Royal Albert Hall, the legendary Grand Ole Opry, along with many other noted platforms. One of Keith Getty's most popular compositions is "In Christ Alone," co-written with Stuart Townend and released in 2001. The song was well-received that year but continues to grow in popularity, remaining the #1 most-sung-hymn in the UK since 2006 (CCLI) and finding position among the top 20 such songs in the United States, Canada, and Australia.
